Dear HIFA colleagues,
On behalf of the HIFA Steering Group, I am delighted to announce the winners of our HIFA Country Representative of the Year awards.
The overall winner is Jackeline Alger (Honduras) [http://www.hifa.org/support/members/jackeline]. Jackeline has previously won a HIFA Country Representative of the Year award (2015) and continues to go from strength to strength. Thanks to her efforts, HIFA now has 178 members in Honduras and HIFA-Spanish already has 149 members (!) in Honduras (more than any other country except Spain). Jackeline was also the subject of our ‘Why I joined HIFA’ video which we produced in late 2018 in English [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NZ-U5Wv9FU] and Spanish [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuXED4xpLJk].
Special commendations are awarded to:
